Tag Mockup
Show your hang tag design with a string loop and an eyelet, front and back, and download a mockup image.

How to use the Tag mockup
- In Tag front design, click Upload your design, drop your file on the box, or paste an image. A sample design loads at the start, so you can replace it. You can also type text in the text box instead of uploading.
- If the tag has a back, upload it in Tag back design. Leave it empty to show the paper colour on the back.
- Set Layout to Single tag to show only the front, or Front and back to show both sides.
- Choose an Eyelet ring: None, Silver or Gold.
- Choose a String colour: natural, black, red, white, or a custom colour from the colour picker.
- Choose a Paper colour: white, cream, natural, kraft or black, or a custom colour.
- Choose a Background, such as Light concrete, Oak table or Studio white.
- Set Download size to Standard or Large, then press Download PNG or Download JPG.
The sample buttons under each slot let you try the tool before you upload anything. If your artwork has a white background that would show as a box on the paper colour, turn on the Remove white background switch under the design slot. The settings are kept in the page address, so a copied link reopens the same view.
How to make a hang tag mockup
To make a hang tag mockup, upload your artwork as the front design and let the tool place it on a tag. The tag is drawn with 54 : 86 proportions (about 5 : 8), and your design fills the whole tag using a cover fit. A design with other proportions is cropped, not stretched, so check that the parts you need are still visible.
A tag design of 1080 × 1720 px matches the proportions exactly. The hole sits near the top centre, so keep important text and logos away from the top edge. The tool does not claim a real size in millimetres, so judge scale by the tag itself, not by a measurement.
What shapes can the tag have
The tag can have three shapes, set by Tag shape. Rectangle is the default, Rounded corners softens the four corners, and Notched top cuts the two top corners at an angle. The design is clipped to the chosen shape, so any artwork outside the outline is hidden. Keep the key parts of your design inside the edges.
Can I show the front and back of the tag
Yes. Set Layout to Front and back to show two tags side by side, with the back on the left and the front on the right. You need to upload a design in Tag back design only if you want artwork on the back. If you leave it empty, the back shows the paper colour.
Can I choose the string and eyelet colour
Yes. Eyelet ring offers None, Silver (the default) and Gold. With None, the punched hole is shown without a ring. String colour offers natural (the default), black, red and white, plus any custom colour from the picker. The string is drawn as a loop with a knot at the top, so the colour you pick shows on the knot and loop.
Frequently asked questions
Is this tag mockup free?
Yes. The tool is free to use in the browser, and there is no sign-up. There is no paid option.
Can I use the mockup commercially?
Yes. You can use the images you download here to show and sell your own designs and products — in shop listings, ads, social posts and portfolios — with no credit required. You may not resell the blank scenes themselves as mockup templates or use them to run a similar service; see the terms.
What file types can I upload?
Each design slot accepts PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or SVG. You can click to upload, drop a file on the box, or paste an image.
What size should my tag design be?
Use 1080 × 1720 px for an exact match to the tag’s 54 : 86 proportions. Other sizes still work, but the design is cropped to fill the tag.
Is my design file sent to a server?
No. The tool runs in your browser, and the design file is never uploaded.
Is the scene a photo?
No. The tag, its shadow and the background are drawn by code in your browser, so there is no stock photo involved and the same settings always give the same picture.
